Original 1940's ABCO RAPID DRY CURLERS .
Made in England by "OCEANS OF NOTIONS" 

These boxes of 12 hair curlers, are unused , the paper seal around the box often unbroken - found in an old warehouse.
Each curler measures just over 4' / 100mm in length and the diameter is 3/4" / 19mm

The curlers have a metal spring structure with a nylon mesh cover.
They are flexible enough to allow them to fit the shape of the head and can also be used as foundations for creating rolls in the hair.
The boxes have either an illustration or a photo of a well coiffed woman - if you have a preference for one or the other let me know.
